Reality of Christmas || Is it belong to Romans? Than why people celebrate?

The Christian community around the world celebrates December 25 as the birthday of Jesus.

Thousands of Christians arrive in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, considered the birthplace of Jesus, to celebrate Christmas. But did you know that 3rd centuries after the birth of Jesus (pbuh) the Christian community chose December 25 to celebrate this festival. Nor was this day celebrated in the life of Jesus (pbuh). It is not mentioned in the Bible or in any religious book. But why? Even nobody knows the authentic birthday of Jesus The Gospels also do not mention a clear date of Jesus' birth, and some Christian scholars have said that the reference to sheep in the birth certificate indicates that they may have been born in the spring, not in the winter. How was it chosen? (Sextus Julius Africanus is actually a Roman Catholic historian of December 25). He presented the date in 221 AD as the birthday of Jesus. Initially, Christian leaders called birthday celebrations a pagan tradition, but they were not ready to adopt it. In the third century, the Roman Empire had not yet converted to Christianity, and they celebrated their god's birthday on December 25, a public holiday and a popular Roman holiday. So Christian religious leaders at the time wanted to provide an alternative to this pagan celebration. In 336 AD, the Roman Church officially began celebrating Jesus' birthday on December 25, the time when Constantine, the Roman emperor, converted to Christianity. This was not widely accepted at the time, but in the 9th century, Christmas became a major holiday. If we look at its history, it is clear that Christmas was not a Christian religious day, but was derived from imports from Roman and other religious festivals before Christianity. The fire was lit 12 days after Christmas, and it was customary to give firewood as a gift. The anthem Christmas was also sung from house to house. Holy day festivals and church processions can be traced back to the early Mesopotamians who celebrated Christmas. The Mesopotamians believed in many gods, . The Romans celebrated their god, Saturn. Their festival was called "Yeshurilia" and lasted from mid-December to January 1. The festivities included wandering the streets in various guises, meeting friends and exchanging gifts. The Romans decorated their homes with lush trees in which candles were lit. Masters and slaves used to change their place which was a pastime for the Romans but Christians did not celebrate this festival as a pastime. As Christianity spread, rituals began to flourish in their ceremonies, as did the Romans. At first, the church forbade such celebrations, but the church's guidance was in vain, and it was finally decided that these festivals would be celebrated as the Son of God. The date of December 25 was sacred not only to the Romans but also to the Persians, whose religion was then the main rival of Christianity. Finally, the church incorporated Roman celebration lights and gifts into the celebration of Christmas. The exact date of the birth of Jesus, whom Christians consider to be the Son of God, is not known. Tradition has it that the birth of Jesus Christ has been celebrated since 98 AD. In 137 BC, the bishop of Rome ordered that the birthday of Jesus Christ be celebrated as a religious rite. In 350, a bishop chose December 25 for Christmas Day. Christmas tree The Christmas tree is also decorated from house to house. If we talk about whether this ritual has anything to do with Christianity or Jesus, or the Bible. So not at all. What is the spirit of this ritual? We will tell you. A Christmas tree, a Christmas tree or a Christmas tree is an ornamental evergreen species of cypress such as white, cypress and pine or an artificial tree. It is used during the Christmas celebrations. The Christmas tree tradition comes from Germany. The world's first Christmas tree became part of Christmas in the early seventh century. Incidentally, a British monk named Boniface was teaching a German town to preach Christianity when he knocked down an oak tree to show that it was not sacred. The little tree escaped. The monk called the event a miracle and named it the Tree of Jesus. On Christmas day, the pine tree became part of the celebration, and by the seventeenth century, the Germans had spread the tradition of the Christmas tree throughout Europe. The tree became part of the Christmas tree in the United States on December 20, 1821.
All of this suggests that Christmas was not a Christian holiday, but a celebration of pre-Christian religions and the Romans who were the killers of Jesus himself. Has been imported. After all, all Christian brothers and sisters from us (Happy Christmas).
